Cut or no cut?

I was thinking,to cut or not to cut my hair..Well, somebody just got her haircut today.Boycut. That was my style backin  high school! But due to perseverance of creating or building a more girlish Pena, I kept my hair long. My dad is the most supportive person! He likes her daughters to have long hair but mama just couldn't stand us with long hair.It is just plain messy (according to her). Plus she need not has to worry on how to groom our since it is short. As I grown older, my hair is my responsibility, so I can do whatever I want with it. I want to make it straight.

It left me with very few choices for what I can do with my hair.I used to hate my hair (sometimes stil do =p) for it is curly.How ungrateful! At least I do have hair, don't I? It's hard for me to maintain it when it's long. We talking bout how AFRO it could be here.But when I was in form 4, I did hair straightening n I kinda like the new look! Well that's the beginning of a new era when Pena has some girlish sense in her (supposedly).

Pena kinda like the idea of getting her hair straight since she has an inferiority complex of being a girl with a curly hair since she was small. Her cousins emma, ella, ieka n kayrun- are all straight hairers. Pena felt different. Pena felt like straight is beauty and curly is the opposite. UGLY.

But what happens now? Y is she thinking bout getting a hair cut? Pena is just tired of having the same kind of hairstyle. Those with short hair looks very youthful and radiant! Pena with her long hair, looks very mature on the outside (she thinks so since she always mistakenly tot as the eldest in the family).

But a boycut made her thinks twice.What if the hair will turn out to be the same old hair (her worst nightmare) she had in highschool ?  Those two tots keep running on her mind. To cut or not to cut.......

All of a sudden got so excited bout Carrie Underwood. She's just so sweet and I love her songs. She's currently dating with Nate Archiball from Gossip Girl ( that hot guy is younger than her u noe!). Found out she's a vegetarian since 13 years old because of her love towards the animals (whoa, how can she restrain herself from eating all those temptatious meat, I noe I can't..haha). Her genre of songs are pop country. Well that explain y I like her songs,since I'm a big fan of pop and country music =D..

Farra's Bday

Happy birthday to Farra Inezza Zahari!!
Fyi, she is my only sister.She's turning 8 yesterday.They had a very simple birthday celebration for her.Went out for dinner and bought present.It's the same celebration for everybody in the family.My first time having a birthday party was when I was 6.Then the 2nd one was during my first year in Moscow. Well that explain my boring personality as I prefer a quiet celebration among family members or close friends.Owh Farra gotten herself a roller blade.It's about time for her to learn roller blading.Only after that she could join the sib for ice skating=p.

At the same time, K.zah held a farewell party to Mr Chong and family as they'll be moving to Hong Kong on the purpose of work.We (my rummates and i) were invited and we were so glad for that. Plenty of malaysian dishes were served! Yummy2!! I ate like hell. Yela, havent seen roti canai, kuih bakar, soto and mcm2 yg xtau name for months,of course la u'd be eating like hell!

Everybody was having fun. We've got the chance to karaoke, and the song we chose was Everybody by BSB..So lame..haha.Bottom line of the story, I really enjoyed last night. We reached hostel at 1.20am, really late ayte?! =p

Brutally attacked

I think my friends couldn't be agree more if I say we weren't happy with our Internal Disease class today. You see, we were not taken seriously before and all of a sudden, they wanna be serious with us. We didn’t see it coming. If not, we will surely be fully prepared for the counter attack. I felt like we’ve been bullied. The teachers are suddenly became tormentors! ( haha, sounds a lil bit exaggerating =p). But it almost true. They were blaming us for everything, and no matter how much we argue, the fault will always be fall on us.

As I stated before, we were taken lightly before, so we’re taking this subject lightly too. We were brought to this 1 patient with chronic liver pathology. From general inspection, I can see spider naevi on her facial and ascites on her abdomen. The teacher explain, “U can see telangiectasis on her face, this is common sign of chronic liver disease. Do u noe telangiectasis? Haven’t u read it? I told u to read it last week.” Strike one. [How would I noe telangiectasis is synonym with spider naevi? If not, she wouldn’t give us strike 1].

Then she continue explaining and show us palpation of the abdominal region. Then she ask again to 1 of us, “ What is the purpose of palpation?” There was a moment of silence since we were a bit shock on y she was showering us with lots of questions. Without confidence the particular student answered to localize pain and few seconds later somebody answered to see if there’s any enlargement of organs. There u go Strike 2. [We weren’t not confident in delivering the answer makes the teacher suspect that we’re making a try n error scene].

“What is the size of spleen?” the teacher asked again. Huh? What’s happening? Y are we being interrogated? Nobody answered of course. We could just bantai, but then I’m to blur to state any number. So, Strike 3! There u go, we’re bunch of idiots!

Later in class, she was blaming us for not coming to lecture on last Wednesday. Guess who were telling us that we’re free on Wednesday? It was her! Yup. We told her what we were told before and as usual she was defending herself and making up stories that she did said something about lecture. Okay, I couldn't remember exactly what she said but from what I did understand Wednesday is a holiday.

Lipid then came, scolding us for not going to the lecture. She threaten us by saying “If u wanna find problems, u’ll get problems” Huh?! Ape ni? Seriously I couldn’t understand why we were attack continuously with these people? So sudden, without warning.

Theories were made up for their unexplainable behaviour :
       1. Lipid were mad because on her lecture only 2 people came.
       2. Maybe there are people who file a complain for not teaching us well
       3. We were their punch bag.

Internet finally WORKS!

Internet function finally is restored!!No more illegal stealing..hehe..

A bit of updating :
Yesterday, was webcamming with kayrun( my fav cousin! Oops,u too ieka=p). Everybody was there, at her house. My mom, tok din, mak normah, chu, makwe, abg shahrul, k.na, eddy, unc zul etc. Everybody was taking turn talking to me. It was so noisy over there. People seemed to be enjoying themselves there. Owh, I miss those people. They were all gathered at Uncle Hashim's house since today is abg azzad's wed!

Since u gonna fly to Auckland, I guess Im gonna miss u this summer holiday.. We've been spending time quite a lot during my last 2 summer breaks.No more lunch dates I guess..Tk care of urselves there k...

Al-fatihah to Pah

I fell asleep while reading Internal Disease, after all I was lying in bed at that time. I woke up at 10pm sharp. First thing I did, was reaching for my mobile. There was a message from mama at 9.15pm. It says ‘Fena, mama baru dapat talipon dari chu, pah baru meninggal dunia. Bacalah alfatihah & yasin utk pah’
I read it again, coz I wasn’t reading it properly. The words went big and small and were unclear to my vision. After several time of blinking and rubbing my eyes, the message struck me in the heart. I was thinking deep for the best soothing and comforting reply but I failed. I end up sending a message to mama saying ‘Ok ma. Ma on the way balik Ipoh ke?’ and mama replied ‘Ye sedang bertolak’
What a reply! Is that best I can came out with? I hope mama stays strong and is coping well with it.

Al-fatihah to Pah. Semoga arwah sentiasa dalam keberkatan. I’ve read yasin just now, it was given to me by pah during kenduri doa selamat few weeks before I set foot on Moscow for the first time. She gave me kain batik too. She said, if I ever miss her, I can always smell the scent from it. I’ve keep pending a call to Ipoh since I’m back from holiday. I hope postcards from Madrid and Lisbon already reach Ipoh. And I hope pah read it. Hmm, al-fatihah. Semoga roh arwah sentiasa di cucuri rahmat drpd Alah swt

New Sem starting soon

The absence of internet is killing me day by day. The need of stealing internet connection from other neighbors is torturing too. The fact of we need to be near the windowpane is ridiculous, made me feel like a stealer of something like that. Haha. Even though I keep on complaining, I still do it anyway. Lol.

Finally after few months, I get to webcam with my family again. They finally fix the desktop back home. FINALLY, after it was broken down by that chubby boy wawan. Speaking of him, he looks taller and thinner in webcam. It’s not he lost weight but he’s getting taller. Almost my height. For that I will still called him tembam. Haha. Anyway, the teasing doesn’t happen one way, it worked both way since mama suddenly said ‘ Eh, anak mama dah jebah dah!’. Jebah = Tembam. So there’s bursts of laughter especially from Wawan. Fair enough, I get to tease him, he get to tease me.

Owh, last night I watched 1 tree hill season 5. 1 shot, 5 episode straight =p. True what Atil has said, the plot is getting more and more interesting! Nathan and Hailey as usual, the ideal married couple. Peyton and Lucas, I just love to see them back together. Lindsay is nice but I can’t see the sparks between Lucas and her.

2nd semester gonna starts soon. The dumbest thing is, we starting our sem on Friday ( 8th February). Haih, dengki btol la, just give us the rest of the weekend and starts on Monday! The whole cycle of tiring day, week, month, gonna start kicking in soon. I’ve seen my timetable. On Saturday, patho phys at 9am. Well 9am people, on Saturday morning, I’m telling u it’s early in the morning! I hope, I don’t have Russian that day, coz if I do, I’m gonna finish class late and there is only Sunday to rest. If possible, I wanna change my cooking turn, if only I can fit in other days except Sunday, then I can have the whole Sunday resting.

I have this feeling that I’m gonna start whining to this blog after the semester starts. I’ve already taken Hygiene books from the library and guess what, 100% in Russian! Wow! Let see if my Russian improving tremendously few months from now. Haha. Oops, I realized, I already started to whine in this posting!=p . Nevertheless, it is February now. Summer holidays in 4months. And between them is the urge of passing 5papers in the final.

For the new sem, I have my hopes n wishes. I wish this sem gonna run smoothly. I wish I have fun studying with my bunch of friends who never fail to brighten up the atmosphere. I wish to study hard and well in all subjects especially Internal Disease, since gonna have the practical this summer. ( hope to prove wrong those skeptical doctors about medical students in Russia) and please, less drama in my group. Anyway, those dramas made me laughs sometime when I look back on it. We were immature in our teens (18) back in 2005 and still immature young adults (becoming 21) now in 2008. Wow, 3 years passing by, 30months spent together and 6months spent with parents.
