Today is the start of HOLIDAY!!!!! ( Yeah, read it with excitement ) Cos I don't know how much longer will it last. A month not doing anything, 2weeks later, it might sounded like '.....it's holiday....still......' Haha! I'm going to have fun, for now that I still have my room mates with me. Im going to try that skiing I've been longing for ( although ophthal teacher already warned us not to, cos might end up with eye trauma ), celebrate new year in very cold minus temperature ( I've been this lazy ass for the past years ) and pure fun of gossiping all night and sleep all day ( mind u, day start at 8am & ended at 4pm ) Yerp, subuh start at 7.50am, mahgrib at 4.10pm. Even so, I still have 1day left to puasa ganti ( When will I ever ganti the last one ni :P )

Those in holiday mood, happy holiday! Those who still have exam tomorrow or in January, happy studying. God, I'm glad I'm not in that position :P

You gotta love this.

"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right and forget the ones that don’t and believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it’d be easy, they just promised it would be worth it." - Anonymous

My cousin always posting up quotes that is so true and just.....AWESOME!
To whom it may concern,
Thank you for loving me and taking good care of me. I've been happy, u made me happy. <3

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone! Merry Christmas to Shaun, my fellow groupmate. Gotta be hard on him, on Christmas day, waking up early to school, and have to study for the weekend for final on Monday & Tuesday. But, I guessed after 5years, that is not a big deal to him any more :P. On a brighter note, he get to feel Christmas like what he always sees in TV! SNOW! So today we celebrated at TGIF after class. Dr F & I even bought champagne for him the night before. But he didnt have a drink yet, cos he said it's 'Lagho' (lalai in arabic). Seriously, I was quite surprised on how he learned that word. Lol. Living with Malays for years, I shouldn't be that surprised :P

Dr F & I bought tickets to see Beauty & the Beast on ice! Yeay! That is like one of the my top ranking all-time Disney favourite, after Lion King. After we bought that ticket, we were happily singing Disney movie songs. LOL.

I should get back to studying. Ophthal paper probably gonna be hard, I think. And yet, I still love wasting time doing other things. Okay people, bye! Next update gonna be when the holiday has started. Can't wait!

I watched 'Law Abiding Citizen' today. Totally awesome.  Must watch! Gerard Butler & Jamie Fox

Trouble picking up which photo I like better, this one or that one? Hurm.... Haha, gediks! This is my blog, I'm allowed to be gedik, right? :P

On the other note, yesterday we had Sushi night & later, Ladies night!!! Well, we made sushi cos they said cannot eat sushi here, bcos of alcohol added in it. It's either Rimin or Sake, I don't really know much bout them. Just that, Sake is equivalent of Vodka in Russia. Something like that I guess, haha.

I got a hair do last night. Credits to Wanie! XD. I feel like Miss Cool Nigga yesterday. Baha!

Let me introduce the Girls in my group. There's B,C,D. OMG, why is it in alphabetical order? If my initial is E, it could be BCDE, but it just BCDF. Lol.

Lastly, me & my funny headgear. But really warm okaay! Protecting my ears from the evil cold weather, pampering them with warmness! XD

Funny PSM story

I've forgotten what PSM meant, but in Malaysia, this cycle is well known as Public Health. I don't like the subject when it comes to coursework. Okay, this is a bit wrong when we took the task for granted, by using seniors' one as 'guidelines' but, the subject doesn't make sense sometime, doing statistic & reasearch. ( God, mommy took her specialization in this subject, I shouldn't have trash the subject like that. Lol )

But anyway, funny story is, a friend posted up a note in FB, stating who's taking who's (as in who's taking what topic), so we wouldn't have clashed topics. We leave comments there with broken Malay, all (of different races : indian, malay, bumiputra) understood it very well. Except one, my darling dear Chinese fellow. Haha, she understand eventually, but have to read it out loud to actually get the meaning. And those short forms, I'm sure those gave her headache :P

New Favorite?

I love this song the minute I heard on GG. So I did a bit of searching on this singer. And guess what, I love both of his single! Jason Derulo. If he keeps this up, I might put him on favorite along side Usher, Ne-Yo, Craig David.

Watcha Say

In My Head

The weather has been very cold lately. The coldest reached for now probably -27 C. We're expecting a warmer weather next week (by that i mean, around -10).

I wish I could just get rid of the coldness by just shouting 'SHOOOOO!' at it. Not that I have grudges towards cold, just that, my face looks like a clown with redness in the region of nose and cheeks! And it's painful too. Hence, everyone is now looking like a terrorist covering everything except the eyes. Haha.

On the other note, it's already mid December! So fast, don't u think? Having final at the end of the month, and then Holiday! Well, nothing much to expect on holiday. No trips to anywhere. But not to worry, I'm sure it still gonna be awesome, I have Dr F around. We can watch Swan Lake or Beauty & the Beast on ice. Cos I remember my 1st time to Warner Bros on ice, I was pretty much amazed with the moves. And there's also skiing & snowboarding. Shopping malls & its' sales to visit. Time to try on new recipes (kot! :P). Hahaha, I'm gonna make Moscow as a wonderful place to stay during winter holidays. Lol. Last2 kerja dok hibernate & jadi stoned :P

Lyrics of the day goes to *drum rolls* Justin Bieber Favourite Girl

I always knew you were the best |The coolest girl I know|So prettier than all the rest |The star of my show |So many times I wished you'd be the one for me |I never knew It'd get like this, girl, |What did ya do to me

You're who I'm thinking of |Girl, But girl you ain't my runner up |And no matter what you're always number one|My prized possession, one and only |Adore ya, girl I want ya |The one I can't live without |That's you, that's you |You're my special little lady |The one that makes me crazy |Of all the girls I've ever known |It's you, it's you |My favorite, my favorite, my favorite |My favorite girl. my favorite girl

You're used to going out your way |To impress these Mr. Wrongs |But you can be yourself with me,|I'll take you as you are |I know they said believe in love,|Is a dream that can't be real |So girl let's write a fairy tale, |And show 'em how it feels

You take my breath away |With everything you say |I just wanna be with you, |My baby, my baby, ohhhh |Promise to play no games, |Treat you no other way, |Than you deserve |'Cause you're the girl of my dreams

Very Educational Gynaecological Class

Finally, I bought filter for my 50mm lens. Yeay! Was following D to camera shop, cos she bought nikon 3000D (i think). As I've been exposing the 50mm lens without protection for a year now, finally I decided to give it some kind of protection! Tara! ~

HOYA made in Japan.

Today in class, we get to see few interesting procedures. All related to the topic we had today, abnormal uterine bleeding. It was like really busy there. Patient come in, ready with the lithotomy position, patient gets intravenous anaesthesia and the procedure begins! (I wouldn't describe the procedure here, as I think, many would find it disturbing.Haha). Procedure done, move patient  to stretcher, get her out of procedure room, nurse take new sterile set of instruments, then new vagina comes in (next patient). It was like a never ending process. Lol. Nevertheless, very educational today.

Lithotomy position.

Feel like uploading pictures today. Dr F & I :)

I lost hope in humanity

This is taken from newspaper cutting.

Kittens abused/mutilated to death, bodies laid before the mother

On the 11th within a Kunming Panlong District neighborhood, the four kittens of an adopted stray cat were abused to death. According to the family that adopted the stray cat, on the morning of the 11th when they heard the cat’s tragic cries, they rushed downstairs to discover this stray cat’s four kittens abused to death, and even placed in front of the mother cat. The kittens’ bodies were covered with bullet holes, with blood all over. One of the kittens had its neck tied with a rope and elongated, its chest cut open, heart exposed, while the other three kittens’ heads were stepped on. According to this journalist’s observation, the bullet holes on the kitten’s bodies were caused by a metal toy gun. It is reckoned that during the night of the 10th, someone used a toy gun to beat the kitten black and blue, so that it was unable to escape, before continuing to abuse/mutilate it to death, and intentionally put them beside the mother cat.
The poor mother cat kept licking the kittens, hoping it would revive the kittens. Crying, the women who adopted the cat were unable to speak, hoping that the cat abuser can be found.

I love cats & kittens, so my 1st impression when reading this is, 'BABI! SAPE YG KURANG ASAM SGT NI!!'

It's official. I lost hope in humanity

I have nothing much to do today, so I decided to have a peek on Gynaecology textbook. Topic - Dysmenorrhea  (painful menstruation). I don't have one, never ever have one. My cousin has it, and I think lots of other women have it. I was wondering, why it happens and how to treat it?

There's two classification, primary & secondary dysmenorrhea. Primary is when u can't determine any pathology of the pelvic. As for secondary, the pain is the result of diseases of pelvic. I don't think cousin suffer from secondary dysmenorrhea, let's go to the details of primary.

There are few causes of pain, one of it is, stenosis of internal os or narrowing of cervical canal. This result in difficulty of menstrual blood to escape, hence strong uterine contraction to force the blood out, and pain develops.
This pain will keep on happening every cycle until finally when she had childbirth, the cervix will dilate (cos baby came out from there), the pain is relief. Gosh, that's a lot of menstrual cycle a girl has to wait! A lot of pain to endure for every cycle.

As for treatment, of course there is analgelsic or oral contraception (for drugs). There's surgery option too. Dilation of the cervix. Who wants to undergo that? Beranak sudah, HAHAHA (I make no sense in that statement :P )

Just a thought

A friend's parent passed away yesterday. Al-fatihah. When things like this happened, u started to think, how do u react when it happens to u, thousands & thousands kilometres away from home.

This when all the talks about further studies abroad or working abroad in the future (which I always got excited about), just vanished. Parents aren't getting younger, I want to be in Malaysia, where I can go check on them always.

It's December!!! Weee!! So today I made a statement in class, 'Yeay, it's December!!!!' The other members in my group went, 'What's on December? Christmas? Yeay, Christmas!!!' Haha, they want to pretend like there's no special date on December, but all their smirking and awfully fake forgetfulness were detected. Again, Yeay, it's December!!! :P

I sprained my ankle the other day, while playing netball. Back in high school, I would never play netball, cos I'm so cool at basketball. Baha! Well, no. I find it hard to play netball, all those not moving ur feet rules, and the goal without board to shoot at. But this netball I played, was different. Playing netball in BB court, using netball's ball but with a BB goal. God that is pretty easy! BB goal is bigger(compared to netball's), and netball's ball is smaller(compared to BB's ball), the probability getting the ball in? Is HIGHER!!! But there's lot of other good teams, we still end up being 4th out of 6. Ok la tu :D

Love this pic, now I feel tall. Hehe :P

Yeah!!! Sungguh cantik balingan itu :D

The swollen ankle & ice. It's the same sprained ankle in April '09

Rugby - girls' style. I got slammed front & back.

Done with surgery & medicine test. Tomorrow is the start of a new cycle. Public Health, Epidemiology, Gynaecology & Ophthalmology. Today is a bit chill. Going to be colder & colder this month. Early greetings to Winter!

Gahh, I can't go to swim tomorrow. Gotta let the leg has enough rest. Though I end up getting sprained ankle and body ache from the game, I HAD SO MUCH FUN THAT DAY! Thank you my team-mates :)
